burial cloth

cat"s cradle

welcome, traveler. you must be weary.

this is our nook in the cyberspace, the website named in honor of the legendary Banton burial cloth. it is a small world of our own creation, an extension of our mindscape, and a refuge of the corporate wasteland that has been made out of most of surface-level world wide web. fortunately, in nature it is so that from ashes new life can grow. therefore, we are here.

cat's cradle serves primarily as our creative playground and either a cradle or a burial chamber with handmade gifts, both welcoming and parting at once. other elements of this site could be considered flakes: they are no less important, but simply not the main focus. all of the creative projects we are working on are extremely personal and a cause of extreme joy, as well as sorrow. the only thing we hate more than creating is not creating.

the majority of the graphic assets were drawn and photographed by us, therefore please respect that: while we do authorise of using our photos under the CC BY-NC-SA licence, our painted work is reclutantly more personal. we do not mind private use, of course: discord profile pictures, inspiration, tracing for learning purposes - go ahead, create, and have fun. as to code itself, it's hard to say its ours. it's a craft made of a language we have learnt from its speakers to become more fluent, like poetry. therefore, we would much rather prefer to see someone just beginning their journey do so on their own while getting inspired, and not thrown by themselves onto deep water by writing down without the knowledge and fun of fundamentals. we are aware that human whimsies are hard to predict, however, as well as how we are not that wide known to "worry" about being "copied", either. it doesn't bother us that much. no one is original and ever will be.

this was a lengthy introduction, wasn't it? either way, this page is currently under construction (and this site is perpetually under construction...), so pardon the dust as we are settling in. in the meantime, we'll throw in the javascript of the webrings we are in here, so that they don't malfunction.
